Home Automation & Access Door Management

We designed our own system to control garages, gates and access doors: an ESP32 unit on every door, smartphone opening, an alarm with camera and automatic scenarios, all managed from a secure web app.

Try it: arrive, then leave

Press a button to watch the real scenario play out. When you arrive, the alarm turns off, the door opens and the light comes on. When you leave, everything happens in reverse.

Manage everything from one screen

The HWIS cockpit brings all your units together. From a computer or a phone, you see the status of every door and adjust everything remotely, without travelling.

Modules and wiring

Siren, light, door opening, sensors: each module is added in one click and the wiring diagram updates live.

No-code scenarios

Pick an event (phone approaching, door opening, alarm armed…) then the actions that follow.

Access badges

Besides the smartphone, each user can open with a badge. A lost badge is disabled in one click from the cockpit.

Accounts, log and black box

Each user has their own access. The log and the black box keep a record of every opening and every alert.

Opening the door by smartphone

Keyless opening by smartphone

Authorised smartphones are recognised over Bluetooth (BLE) as they approach: the alarm disarms and the door can open without a key or remote. A short beep from the siren confirms that the alarm is disarmed.

Each phone is authorised individually and can be removed at any time. One phone can open several doors.

ESP32 unit wired to relays and sensors

One connected unit per door

Every garage, gate or door gets an ESP32 unit wired to relays, buttons and sensors. A new door is added to the account by scanning the unit's QR code.

The unit works over Wi-Fi or 4G and its software updates remotely. It is compatible with off-the-shelf modules such as Shelly and M5Stack.

Camera and alarm sensors

Alarm, sensors and camera

The system protects each entrance with a motion detector (PIR), a gyroscopic shock sensor, laser or ultrasonic obstacle detection and a siren.

When the alarm goes off, the camera takes up to 20 photos, available right away in the app.

An event triggers notifications, photos and the siren

Automatic scenarios

Each event (arming, disarming, motion, obstacle, shock) can start a scenario of up to 12 steps: push notification, email, siren, photos, switching a relay or a motor, with a delay between steps.

Closed garage · Lock-up box

Securing a closed garage or a lock-up box

A lock-up box or closed garage is often isolated, underground, without Wi-Fi and out of sight. The system is designed for these conditions.

Automatic arming

The alarm arms itself when your phone moves away and disarms when it comes back. No more forgetting when you leave.

Break-in detection

The gyroscopic sensor fitted on the door detects a shock or an attempt to force it. The laser detector reports any opening and the motion detector watches the inside.

Instant alerts, even underground

Thanks to 4G, notifications and emails go out even without Wi-Fi. The siren sounds and the camera photographs the inside.

Obstacle in front of the door

An ultrasonic sensor detects a vehicle or an object in the door's path. It makes closing safe and is set according to the type of door and its opening and closing travel.

Security and monitoring

The app installs on the phone like a regular app. It handles several users with admin rights, keeps a history of events and tests the modules automatically. Logins are protected by a country-based firewall and by blocking repeated attempts.
